Astrology: Reading A Crime Horoscope
71Sample Crime Horoscope
Crime Astrology, My Hobby
So far I’ve written several articles on how astrology can describe events, with special focus on the astrology of crime, including cold cases, unsolved crimes, missing persons and disasters.
It may seem a grisly hobby to some, but it does engage my eighth house energies very well. I have four planets in the eighth house of my astrology birth chart. Some astrologers would consider the eighth house a difficult placement for these energies, and I agree. However, one of the many strengths of understanding astrology is knowing how best to utilize a difficult energy, and my fascination for solving crimes is a good use of those energies. So I have dedicated myself to using astrology to understand events, and now I will show others how to do the same. Astrology really can be used to help people direct their energies in this way, and it is also amazingly useful in learning more about events like unsolved crimes and disasters.
How does an astrology chart shed light on the moment of a crime? The astrology chart is a map or blueprint of celestial energies at any given time. It shows what energies (in the form of the Sun, Moon, planets and stars) are operating in what specific area at a specific time.
In order to understand an event chart you would need a basic knowledge of what the planets represent, what the twelve houses of the horoscope represent, and also, the qualities and characteristics of the twelve zodiac signs.
Most importantly, and often neglected in modern astrology, is an understanding of the “essential dignities” of the zodiac signs. These reveal how well – or how poorly – a planet can operate within that sign. They reveal good energies, and badly misplaced energies (and I see a lot of those when studying crime horoscopes).
Often in a crime chart I see planets in zodiac signs which are not compatible with that planet. This lends much to the interpretation of the chart. If loving, harmonious Venus is in martial, combative Aries, then I know there is some stress involved in whatever Venus represents in that chart. If she is a person she is overly aggressive, for example, or enjoys engaging in conflict, not a preferred Venusian activity.
The most challenging aspect (no pun intended) of setting up a chart to analyze a crime is in finding the specifics of the event, especially the exact time. Of course people cannot know the exact moment that a person goes missing, so I search for other times. Most often I use the time that the disappearance was reported to the police, or the time the person was last seen. These can be difficult to obtain so a bit of research is necessary, usually via media on TV or the internet.
I have also used the time that a dead body was found. How do I know such a horoscope will be effective? Because the planets are always in motion, especially the Moon. In horary astrology the movements of the Moon describe the passage of time. By tracking the Moon the chart will provide me with a narrative of the events.
I’ll be writing more soon. Stay tuned!
